Right, it's not fantasy, it's art. If you cannot see the piano player, well... But art does NOT only consist of symbolism, beauty and drama. Sometimes art can be actually very ugly. It's in the eye of the viewer.
In this case art is to see a piano player in a guy surrounded by water. Maybe absurd in your eyes, but again, it's surreal, it consists of absurdity.
This is not art. Its a fucking black and white photo of a guy in water. I can do this. A child can do this. Where's my daily deviation?
I don't give a flying fuck if something is surreal or not. I just care about how much effort was put into it. Apparently not a lot. I understand that at times art can be subjective, but this is not art. This is shit.
You have to be the blind one to not see that and think this is art.
Well, what did Columbus say? It's not important, if everyone could have done it or not, but who had the idea to do it Everyone could have crossed the see and discover America, but nobody did it except him.
You will come over a lot of stuff like this, I mean, is photography no art, just because everyone can push the button of a camera?
Well, if you would have a look on my profile, you'd see that I'm not that far away from you But you're right, I'm not that interested in american history. Anyway it's not about celebrating Columbus himself but his quote. But this discussion is going impertinent, wish you a nice evening
